Supporting Local Rescues

February 14, 2020 2 min read

Celebrated on February 17th, National Random Acts of Kindness Day has grown in popularity each year. It is celebrated by individuals, groups and organizations, nationwide, to encourage acts of kindness. It is a favorite day to many, as people everywhere are enjoying doing these acts of kindness. However, even though pets can’t express their feelings the same way humans can, there is no denying the love a pet feels for their owner/family member. A day to show others kindness with gestures big or small. It feels nice to perform an act of kindness for another human, but let’s not forget our furry friends.

Are there ways you can help your local shelter or rescue in celebration of Acts of Kindness day?

Here at Benefab® we are so proud to be a business ambassador of the ASPCA. We promote consistent support to their incredible cause and mission to save lives. Its another way for us to give back! We started working with a local equine rescue here in Ocala, Florida called Beauty’s Haven Farm and Equine Rescue. We absolutely love their mission and how they welcome horses. They help horses that are no longer needed, wanted or are useful to their owners and placed into loving, forever homes. Beauty’s Haven Farm & Equine Rescue, Inc is a non-profit organization that was established in 2006. They are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming horses that have been neglected, abused, and/or abandoned. Most importantly, provide permanent Sanctuary for some with special needs. The rescue gives them a second chance at a life without pain or worry, a life with dignity and respect. They are passionate about educating the public on proper horse care, welfare issues such as horse slaughter, and the steps to take when encountering cases of cruelty or neglect. Beauty’s Haven Farm and Equine Rescue is the culmination of a lifelong dream that came true for Theresa Bachelor, President and one of the founders. Theresa grew up with horses and always wanted to help those horses that were less fortunate. This is Bria below from Beauty's Haven Farm and Equine Center. A rescue at the farm and she is enjoying the Benefab® SmartScrim that we have donated, we hope she gets rehabilitated quickly! We are so pleased to be working with Beauty’s Haven Farm and Equine Rescue! Above all, to give back today for Random Acts of Kindness Day Beauty’s Haven is being featured in Equine Wellness Magazine in the To The Rescue feature and a coupon code has been set up to help support them. Anyone that subscribes and uses the code BH at checkout, the rescue will receive 25% of the proceeds! Check out the link here! >>> https://equinewellnessmagazine.com/subscribe/
